Grays Gymnastics Club are in the process of trying to secure premises, therefore in order to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible service for gymnasts, coaches and parents alike we have made the decision to introduce the following agreement. By communicating this now, we will ensure that everything is already in place for when we locate to our new premises.
Code of Conduct
Please ensure that your contact details and other information that we hold is up to date. Please inform us of any changes as soon as possible.
Please advise if your child is unable to attend their session as soon as possible in order for the correct number of coaches to be arranged.
Please ensure that the gymnast arrives on time, is dressed appropriately and has their hair tied back.
Ensure that the gymnast brings a drink with them.
Be respectful of other gymnasts, parents and coaches at all times, this includes the use of social media networking sites.
Parents are not allowed in the gym during training unless invited to attend or in the event of an emergency. The coach on duty will notify when parents can enter at the end of the session. The balcony at Llandrillo College is out of bounds as a viewing area during all training sessions.
Any query with regard to the gymnast and / or their training should be directed to the coach in charge of the session. If at all possible please speak to the coach at the end of the session.
If you have any questions in regards to your gymnast training or in regards to any questions you may have please only contact the Head Coach directly.
Do not take any photographs or videos from the Sports Hall / Gym entrance. Parents or individuals wishing to take photographs or videos of their child during training must request permission from the coach in charge of the session.
Please do not photograph or video a child who is not your own. If there is a requirement for this then the parent of that child must advise the Head Coach of their request and await permission from the coach in charge of the class.
Please remember that gymnasts progress at different rates and should be encouraged and supported at all times. Parents should speak with the Head Coach if they have any issues at all concerning training or development of their child. Any issues should not be discussed with other parents and / or gymnasts.
Grays Gymnastics Payment Scheme – Club Manager
Starting January 2018 for Squad Gymnasts and April 2018 for Recreational Gymnasts, club fees will be collected via Direct Debit using the ‘Gymnastics Club Manager’ system.
This system will enable us to improve our club administration, including waiting lists, registrations, class fees, membership fees, members information, coaches information, attendance registers, group emails, holiday camp, newsletters and so on.
This will be a phased launch, initially for squad gymnasts then rolling out the system to the recreational groups starting in April 2018.

*This is a gentle reminder to all recreational club gymnasts to complete the online registration form and payment details as this comes into effect from next month.
